AUSTIN, TX (June 17, 2026) Star-Spangled Fest—the popular expansion of Austin’s iconic Fourth of July celebration introduced in 2024—returns with extended programming, including a Texas Music Scene taping, The Morning Spin and more. This year’s festivities, held at Auditorium Shores and supported by the Long Center, offers something for everyone with a variety of music, food, drinks, games and giveaways. The day-long celebration culminates with the 49th annual Austin Symphony Orchestra July 4th Concert and Fireworks, presented by H-E-B. Access to Auditorium Shores is free and open to the public. Premium access tickets to additional programming are available at starspangledfest.com.

Included on USA Today's 10Best list of 4th of July Celebrations, Star-Spangled Fest is honored to be named an official supporting partner of America250. This non-partisan initiative aims to engage all Americans in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States and inspiring reflection on our nation's history, values, and future. Austin proudly joins communities nationwide in marking this historic occasion through one of the city's most cherished traditions.

The Morning Spin, produced by The Mushroom Cowboy in collaboration with The Concourse Project, will kick off the day's festivities in true Austin fashion with an energetic blend of music, coffee, cocktails, and community. Designed to reimagine the traditional social gathering, this daytime experience brings people together through shared connections and exceptional music.

Headlining the event is DJ, producer and songwriter Austin Millz, renowned for his viral remixes that seamlessly blend soul, house and hip-hop. Also joining the lineup are acclaimed DJ duo and identical twin sisters Coco & Breezy, known for their signature soulful electronic sound, alongside Austin favorites Alec Michael, Hank Harrison and Samwise.

General admission tickets and VIP cabanas are available here.

Doors will reopen at 4:30 p.m. for an evening of live music on the Shoreline Stage, beginning with a 75-minute set from DJ Supa Q. At 5:45 p.m., Tomar and The FCs will bring their signature blend of soul, rock 'n' roll and funk to the stage, followed at 7 p.m. by rising singer-songwriter Shelby Stone, whose distinctive sound fuses traditional Texas country with a bold modern rock edge. The performances will be captured live by The Texas Music Scene for future episodes of the series dedicated to showcasing the Lone Star State’s best musical talent. As the sun sets, the Austin Symphony Orchestra will take the stage for stirring performances of “America the Beautiful” and the “Star-Spangled Banner” before launching into a patriotic concert. The evening celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial will culminate with Austin’s largest-ever fireworks display at 9:45 p.m.

During a featured moment on stage, Wells Fargo, in partnership with Group 1 Toyota North Austin and Military Warriors Support Foundation, will present a local, combat-wounded veteran with a payment-free vehicle in recognition of their service and sacrifice. This is the second year in a row that these organizations have come together to honor a local veteran with a new vehicle.

Beyond the music and ceremony, Auditorium Shores will feature a festival atmosphere filled with local food vendors, family-friendly activities, interactive brand experiences, and special appearances. Guests can capture memorable moments with a 25-foot H-E-Buddy from title sponsor H-E-B and an action-filled photo opportunity from Austin's professional bull riding team, the Austin Gamblers. Additional activations include Coca-Cola's America250-branded trailer, featuring complimentary beverage samples, and the family-friendly Kids Zone presented by Thomas J. Henry, offering activities for guests of all ages.
