Meanwhile Brewing Co. launches incentive running program through Strava, branded BOCO Gear running hat

WHO: Meanwhile Brewing Co., the award-winning South Austin brewery located on four acres of oak tree-shaded land with five on-site food trucks, a coffee bar, taproom, and brewhouse.
WHAT: Meanwhile Mile Collective, a running club on the popular fitness tracking platform Strava, will feature monthly challenges that reward participants with on-premise perks when they achieve running milestones. Rewards can be redeemed at the brewery’s Austin taproom.
In January, members of the Meanwhile Mile Collective who log 90 minutes of running can redeem 90% off their first beverage at the brewery. New challenges and rewards, including in-person events and collaborations, will be announced through the club on Strava and via Meanwhile’s Instagram account @meanwhilebeer.
To celebrate the launch of the program, Meanwhile is introducing branded BOCO Gear running hats ($35), available in the taproom and online. Meanwhile will give away hats to the first 50 people to follow and join Meanwhile Mile Collective in-person on Friday, Jan. 16 and again on Saturday, Jan 17 at the Spurs International Half Expo at the Palmer Events Center.
